Good bathroom upgrade

Shaft seals are better than the original plastic seals. Very smooth, the cartridge spring is stiffer than the old one for a secure seal. I replaced that and the bowl gaskets and toilet held the test water for over a week.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • There are some nuances

The white spring actuator didn't match my toilet.

The white spring actuator did not match my toilet although my model number should have been covered with this combination. Next time I will buy a set of bullets and a black spring cartridge separately. There is a big difference between white and black pen cartridges, so make your life less frustrating and check your device before you buy it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Bad impression

Corrected well.

Purchased to replace the flush ball in my Dometic SC-210 RV toilet. After installing the flush ball, stem, and spring cartridge, I tried them out before changing the bowl. The protrusion on the spring cartridge was not sticking to the pedal. It looks like it was too small. So I put the old cartridge and stock back in place. Only a new ball and gaskets fixed the water leak from the bowl. I would reconfigure the items, but I wanted to fix the toilet.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Be careful when ordering

This part is for metal pedal toilet only. If you have a plastic pedal you will need to order part 385310683. I installed this part and after the 2nd flush it broke. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded below. Now I have to pay the other part. I wish they would say that in the description. It looks like you are using the wrong spring cartridge. Plastic foot-operated toilets use a black spring cartridge, 385310683. Diane StamanDometic Sanitation Corporation.

Dometic doesn't make it easy to choose the right parts

I bought this set after reading the FAQ and seeing an answer saying it was for 510x or 510 plus. On the first flush, the pedal broke where it contacted the spring cartridge arm. A closer look reveals that the set shown is for toilets with a metal flush pedal. I'm so pissed off that I have to order another pedal and spring cartridge. I don't appreciate this Dometic nonsense. From what I understand you owe me $47.95 for parts that I should have ordered from another source. Make it easier to…

Here's the deal: 1) The right parts for our 510.

Here's a suggestion: 1) The right parts for the 510 Plus toilet? Yes 2) The lousy instructions don't clearly explain what it takes to remove the old choke ball and then keep telling you that installing a new choke ball is just the reverse process of removing the old one. 3) This kit should obviously be sold with the gasket parts included (two pieces of rubber) as this job is not complete unless you install new gaskets as the job involves quite a bit of disassembly. 4) Can an ordinary home…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

It stopped the leak from the bowl

Wear rubber gloves and be prepared to work in a restricted area. If you replace this part, you'll end up with nasty feces on the inside walls of the toilet under the bullet. It's best to bite the bullet, take the toilet bowl out of the potty in the camper and take it outside. Oh, make sure you turn off the water :). I placed the pot on a disposable blue tarp, took everything apart and cleaned with a melamine sponge and detergent before putting in a new gasket and ball. The bottom seal and the…

Pros
