Efficient Water Heater for Your RV!

This electric gallon heater is a great addition to any automotive enthusiast's RV. It's easy to install and provides consistent hot water for all your needs while on the road. The stainless steel material ensures durability and longevity. However, it may not be suitable for smaller RVs due to its size.

Pros
  • Efficient heating of water with the capacity of 6 gallons
Cons
  • Limited control options for temperature adjustment

Hot plastic smell in van parts and accessories

This water heater is in my new van. The plastic insulating cover eliminates the smell of hot plastic when the maximum temperature is reached. The RV dealer removed and checked for other fire hazard concerns but found nothing. Hold breath.

Pros
  • Fresh water systems
Cons
  • I don't remember

It took me a week to install

. I liked the instructions and watched a youtube video which made the installation much easier. I made a solid square out of angle steel, made a flange to fill in the existing gaps and used an old water heater door sized to match the original opening. It was a miracle that he fit in so well. I bought a light and two switches from an RV store and made my own double switch because one didn't come with it and the one in the picture is no longer available. Connect it to the switch via an empty slot

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Damaged
