Ideal for cleaning short ropes!

A quick and easy way to clean up used or dead rope for use in dog leashes. I don't know how easy it would be to use it on longer lengths.

Pros
  • Camping
Cons
  • Almost never

Dangerous! on Rope, Cord & Webbing

This brush tore through my Imlay Canyon rope sleeve in just a few strokes! Each of the little notches on the rope quickly began to stretch since the brush is so stiff. That brush damaged the shell! Do not buy this Chinese fake!

Pros
  • Rope, Cord & Webbing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

For Climbing Rope: Lots of elbow grease but works

Here's how I did it: Used on 70m of 10.2mm dynamic rope. Yeah I know it's fat and it took a hell of a long time. Use a large plastic storage tub (clear is easy to spot when it's so dirty it needs to be emptied and refilled) in the tub. Soak in whatever soap you like (I used J&J baby shampoo) and "stir"/soak, hopefully without twisting or binding. Pull to the right an arm's length, then to the left an arm's length, then to the right again two arm's length to continue, keeping your hand submerged

Pros
  • Climbing
Cons
  • Nothing
