I'm not sure if I accidentally received a version earlier than the "Enhanced Version" but it doesn't fit my charger. It closes the opening for the file. It is VERY difficult to install and does not fit the instrument snugly. I will be returning it in hopes they find a better fit. If you rely on your clip on your Leatherman, I STRONGLY recommend not using this option. You can see in my photos where it interferes with the opening and doesn't fit the instrument exactly.

DO NOT BUY! This is a very disappointing experience. I wanted it to fit so badly. That's a great idea. but are in the description. NO amount of tricks or punches will make it snap. My fingers are bleeding and my leather manipulator locking mechanism is now broken. useless garbage. it had a lanyard ring that didn't fit either. Very upset I understand this company owes me a new Leatherman Wave+. Your clamp will not fit and will ruin your tool's locking mechanism.

Laser drawing on clip looks good. However, it feels very rough, not polished. It may not bother some buyers, but it feels inferior, especially compared to my Leatherman Surge's smooth stainless steel finish. The clamp fit on my Surge is also very loose. When installed, the clip moves freely from side to side up to thirty degrees. Other reviewers have stated that this clip fits their multi-tools very snugly; may fit well on the Wave model. However, if you have Surge, I doubt you'll be satisfied.

Comes in a pretty tin and includes a good-sized wrist strap. The jar has been repurposed to have a closed-cell black foam that's half the size of the Altoids jar, which is very useful in its own right. The lanyard loop cannot be used at the same time as the clip but will work with other Leatherman models so it will eventually find its place. Doesn't fit at all. Compared to the original clip, it's donk! free and has relative lateral movement. I had to use needle nose pliers and bend the clip to make it secure. And now that it's enforced, the critical lock function is instantly worn out and weaker and won't work for that long. Not worth the price even with titanium. Ever wondered why there are so many complaints about Leatherman snap clips? The OEM design has 2 sharp bends to create a curve. This creates increased tension in the thin stainless steel.
