LS truck engines are notorious for exhaust system bolts breaking off flush on the back or front of the bolt. When restoring the heads, I asked the master to remove two broken bolts. I replaced them with these. So far, so good. You can switch to ARP later.

bought them for my Chevy 5.7L says they fit they don't these bolts are about an inch short. not long enough to get through the manifold to the cylinder head, bought them at the time of disassembly and it's too late to return them now, when I pick them up in 3 months, check your parts. Don't believe when a website tells you they are compatible

Originally I got a set of screws from the dealer thinking it must be original, nothing better than this. Man I was wrong, the dealer bolts kept turning in the block and I found out the bolts I got from the dealer were for newer cars that don't have a cast iron exhaust manifold (header). Used with Trailblazer 4.2 splitter and others. I was lucky and didn't have any broken screws, but usually there are a few loose or broken screws. So before you begin, be aware that drilling/tapping may be required to reinstall the manifold. If you get a seemingly incurable lean code, look under the underhood exhaust heat shield for large cracks. I had a crack in cylinder 6 and around the O2 probe resulting in excessive fuel consumption.
