Works perfect. There were no leaks in several test drives.

Working perfectly. There have been no leaks on multiple test rides of my 92 Bronco 5.8. Advice only! You need to transfer the magnet from the old pot. Don't be like me and double check magnet placement and spacing before screwing anything. I put it in the pot and a day later I woke up paranoid about exactly where I put it and worried that the entrance to the filter might be blocked. I ended up dropping the pan again just to calm myself.

  • Non-automatic transmission

Possibly better than a pallet OEM

I installed this on my 1993 Lightning with an E4OD transmission. This sump is designed for 4x4 models but will easily fit 2WD drives BUT you must use a 4x4 filter with a longer suction pipe as this sump is deeper and therefore has a larger capacity. I put some tape on the drain plug and haven't had any issues with leaks. Absolutely unbeatable for the price. When using on Lightning or older trucks, DO NOT use the crappy cork gasket that was OEM. Get a later reusable impregnated rubber or NAPAโ€ฆ

Problems with the operation of transmission filters, 2WD or 4WD.

Motorcraft 4WD filter insert, does not fit properly, space problem, went back to original 2WD transmission filter from Wix, is also defective, too short, transmission does not shift properly. The sump appears to be made for 2WD, it doesn't seem to hold more gear oil than 2WD, but when the 4WD filter was installed I had a gap issue, I couldn't secure the sump. I ended up using an old pan with a reusable ATP gasket, this helped locate and fix the leak problem. PAN transfers returned to Dormanโ€ฆ

  • The list will be long. Order

This pan I think is a good buy. It was designed to replace the factory oil pan for the 4R100 gearbox but will definitely fit the older E4OD gearbox as well. I was able to replace my old dented no drain pot plug with this one and an ATP FG-300 reusable gasket for a reasonable price and am very happy with it. It was perfectly flat around the edges with no warping or defects. Be sure to remove the plug and apply lubricant to it before reinstalling. It looks like it was factory tightened with anโ€ฆ

Fits my 1995 Ford Truck E40D Transmission

I bought this pan for my 1995 Ford F-150 4WD Truck with E40D Transmission. I still had to change the fluid and filter. I decided to spend $36 on a pot with a drain plug. This pan looks well made. It fits perfectly in my truck gearbox. I drained five to six liters of liquid from my original pan. It was difficult to be precise as some of them got buried even if you were careful. A new pan holds a little more liquid. I put in 6.5 liters of new fluid. I no longer have to worry about spills when Iโ€ฆ
