I saved about $200 by having it installed at the dealer. Only criticism was the lack of instructions; I went online and after searching four sites I saw how to uninstall and install. After learning this "trick" it took me less than a minute, actually about 30 seconds, to remove the old one and install the new one.

Great replacement for a terrible idea. I don't know how long it will take, but you can get 2 drinks in holders as long as they aren't thick American ones. Cans, 20-ounce bottles, and "regular" mugs found in restaurants are acceptable. Larger Hardee sizes will not fit, other places with foam cups that have a narrow base and then get larger will fit.

This cup holder fits my 2003 Mercedes E500 perfectly. The reviewer mentioned that it would fit because of the protrusion on the bottom of the holder, so he cut it off, but there is a slot for the protrusion to fit, so I just pushed the holder against that slot and it fitted perfectly. Fits perfectly and works great. Great price compared to the original branded replacement.

This cup holder did not originally fit my 2003 MB E320. A template was made to determine the orientation of the grommets and a little filing allowed the holder to be set in place. Unfortunately the opening mechanism no longer works :0(. To remove the unit might need to be broken, so a spark plug puller is used to remove it :0(. It closes normally though. I will stop buying Dorman products if I can avoid!

Received from Revain a few minutes ago and it clicked into place indicating it was installed in the correct position. My 2004 E320 was replaced at an MB dealership for a small fortune and this Dorman replacement is identical in every respect and works great. This German coaster design is the silliest thing MB has ever invented and thanks to Revain and Dorman it was a quick fix with next day delivery.

The perfect replacement for the original cup holder. Cons: No chrome trim on bottom ring and cut out circle of center cup holder like original. Pros: Has all the necessary hardware to insert into the cup holder. pre-punched floor slots in the center console. It snaps into place and folds freely. I am satisfied with the price-performance ratio. He gave me a working cup holder and restored aesthetic value to my car 😁#lovemyMBE320#lovemyEClass
