🚘 Dorman 45392 Hood Bumper Assortment for GM and Honda Review

Adjustable rubber hood bumper. Lasted six years and then broke up. I don't think it's really long enough, but I think I'll order two more.

There are four bumpers, two of each size. I ordered them for a '95 Camaro, but the other kit also worked for a '95 Dakota, but I have one too.

The original plastic hood bumpers on my 99 Camaro SS literally crumbled in my hand trying to adjust them a bit and finding the original parts was a challenge and they cost more and would be same shabby plastic been crap when i changed. I would recommend them

Worked better than factory hood regulator. I used the largest on my 2000 civilian. The only downside is that you need two of these as only one large controller is supplied. Being larger than the factory model made it a lot harder to screw into the hole, but it was more durable.

Order 2 sets. The larger size is needed for GM Fbody hood stopper. You need 2 to replace the original crap that GM puts on these cars. The OEM kit that came with the machine lasted about 6 years. OEM replacement parts lasted about 4 years. They only get brittle and crack when under the hood. They are more malleable out of the box. With regular lubrication, they should last for many years. with hope.

Good quality, there are two in the pack so you only need one. I upgraded the originals to these in my 1990 Chevy Beretta. The car is like new for only 20,000 but like most plastic things in GM cars from the 80's and 90's the original bumpers started to crack and became brittle. I would highly recommend them, like everything Dorman makes, they are as close to OEM as can be but made from higher quality materials.
