f150 compatibility

Instead of buying a $150 Dorman f150 camera for my 2013, I bought this. It will work if you are skilled enough to make a small notch in the tailgate behind the tailgate emblem and can cut a notch in the plastic camera mount. The guides don't work, but the image quality is close to factory. You can't complain about the price.

Used in F150. good for cars and auto electronics

I also bought this because it cost $50 as opposed to >$100 for the F150 version from the same manufacturer. jb welds them. 2 hours work. I put <30 minutes in the target car. FOV is much wider than OEM, probably normal for target vehicle. A bit wide, it's hard to tell where the sides of the truck are Clear and bright image.

Would buy again from Car Safety & Security

The ad said it wouldn't fit my car but when I looked at the pictures I was convinced it would and it did was significantly cheaper than all other options said they would fit my car. (Ford Escape 2014). It really fitted and the installation was as easy as can be, taking about 20 minutes during my lunch break at work. It works great and I'm very satisfied.

Fits my 2013 Ford Escape Titanium

I bought this despite being told it didn't fit, thought it might be worth a try. This camera fits my 2013 Ford Escape Titanium with no modifications. The original camera rotated 180 degrees. I tried restarting my computer and updating my sync software - nothing helped. This camera solved my problem. The park lines don't appear with it, but that's ok, everything is fine again.
