Great camera! for vehicle safety

Replaced my backup camera in a 2013 Lincoln MKX Premier. The camera display showed the image upside down. After watching a YouTube video, my husband installed this in about 10 minutes! It took me longer to find and order it than it took my husband to install it. This is a clear image with lines. I didn't want to pay more than $800 for a dealer to fix my camera. In total it cost about $90!

Replacement for MKX 2013 rear view camera

The old camera was sporadic at best. it stays on for no more than 10 seconds. This new camera fixes the problem I had. This product fits my 2013 Lincoln MKX perfectly. Uninstall and install the product within 30 minutes. Check out the directions I photographed. i-play I had to rotate it 90° but the design supports it... The picture quality is the same as the OEM if not better

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • slightly torn

Works but resolution seems less clear

Identical to one of the other reviews. My OEM backup camera on my 2013 MKX looks fogged up on the inside of the display. Yes, the dealer charged over $800 for a replacement/repair (not covered by the full warranty package). This is another complaint. It only costs $120 and they are easy to replace. Colors are brighter and there's no haze, but resolution isn't as sharp. You have to be careful at night. But you can live with that pace.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fits my 2013 Ford Taurus SEL

I drive a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL 3.5L v6 Pearl White and bought it to replace my camera as it wasn't working. The dealer wanted to charge $700 for a replacement...no thanks. The camera model I replaced in the Taurus is Ford P/N: DG1T-19G490-AC. The installation is very easy. In the trunk, slide out the latches holding the felt cover, unscrew the leather strap and remove the felt cover. Then remove the screw that secures the camera mount. After that, pull out the camera, press the tab and pull to…

Perfect replacement for 2011 MKX

I am writing this review and hopefully helping others who have been in my situation. I have a 2011 Lincoln MCX. Both Revain and the description of this item said it would not fit my car. However, the camera images that should have matched were at the right angle on the back for the connector. So I took these anyway. My standard camera started peeling, fading, upside down and no backup rails. This camera was a direct replacement with no modifications or mount adjustments and everything works…

THIS CAMERA WORKS ON A 2011 FORD F150

will work with a beautiful clear image. My original camera was BL3T-19G490-AE. I had problems with intermittent camera crashes. The picture from the new camera was originally upside down, but I flipped it over in the mount and after that it was perfect. The plastic mount no longer works, but the tabs on the camera still hold the camera in the mount. Another clue to the F150 is that the badge tabs break when attempting to remove it. You can buy another emblem by simply attaching it with a couple

Pros
  • QUALITY TESTED - This parking assist camera has been fitted, vehicle tested and salt spray tested to ensure quality and durability
Cons

Dorman Model 592-017 Rear View Camera

This camera fits 2014 Lincoln MKS. It's not listed as such on Revain, and even Dorman's customer service reps didn't have a camera for "this app." But he fits perfectly. This is an exact match for the factory camera. Image quality is just as good, if not better than the stock camera. If you need a backup camera, be sure to check out Dorman. Put the same camera in my 2011 Lincoln MKX. Here's the kicker: This camera was $110 on Revain. The Lincoln dealer wanted $495 for the camera and $300 for…

Works for my 2014 Lincoln MKX

star and stated the product was terrible . I give 5 stars for the performance and the price. The dealer asked $800 to replace my broken camera. It cost $121.67 and had free shipping with Prime for 1 day. My dealer wanted $425 for an OEM camera, but they didn't have it in stock. The lowest price for an OEM camera was $274 online with overnight shipping between $30 and $78 and they were out of stock too. Due to the delay I ordered this from Revain and figured if it was defective I could return…
