Did not fit, had to be replaced

Purchased for a 1994 F250 with a 5.8 liter engine. Didn't fit, was 1/2 inch shorter. Luckily I had 3/4" steel tubing, cut the tubing and welded on the extension. It's ridiculous that a brand new part advertised for your car needs to be modified.

Pros
  • Excellent quality - OE quality at a lower price
Cons
  • Write later

Does not fit 1996 Ford Bronco 5.8L

Does not fit 1996 Ford Bronco 5.8L. You will need an EGR tube with two additional connections for an exhaust gas pressure feedback (OBD2) sensor. I believe engine building is the only source of this. Dorman, you need to update the description to state that this applies to non-OBD2 Ford trucks. I now have to send it back because of incorrect installation. The rest of the article looks fine.

Pros
  • Rugged construction - stainless steel for durability
Cons
  • Medium

'91 F150 5.8L Didn't fit! The hose is too short.

I bought this for my 1991 F-150 Lariat 5.8L engine. My EGR manifold pipe has developed a crack that is causing the exhaust pipe to leak. This EGR pipe is supposed to fit my 1991 F-150 5.8 but it does NOT. The EGR pipe I received is about 3/4" shorter. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. I think I might try JB welding the crack. I use the new one, the I bought as a wall hanger in my garage.

Pros
  • Quality checked - tested for fit and performance
Cons
  • Lightly dented
