was installed in my 2004 Deville yesterday. Right after starting the car the low coolant warning came on, I unplugged it and shorted it out with a paper clip and the warning is deactivated, so everything is fine with the car system, plugged it back in and the warning came back. So the bottle is somehow defective. I'll take another, see what happens, and return this one on credit. Update from 11/30/2015, the replacement bottle is also defective, I received a second replacement bottle, it works.

This product replaced a factory unit that was causing a 'Check Coolant' message even though the coolant level was correct. Works well so no complaints. The only issue that doesn't earn five stars is that the lower coolant hose fitting has a different barb than the factory one and requires positive pressure to install the factory hose. Fits well. The lower hose nozzle had to be removed from the original tank and relocated to it. Instructions for disconnecting the fitting are not provided. The molded socket for the electrical connection of the coolant level sensor did not fit. Using the o-ring on the pigtail of the wiring I couldn't lock the connector. I had to remove the flexible gasket to snap the connector in place. Not good. So it does its job, it fits, but I wasn't expecting any tubing and wiring issues for what should…
