Dorman 603 664 Engine Coolant Reservoir Review

Very good quality, plastic is nice and thick, the tank has metal reinforcement on the hose connections, Mya is thicker and heavier than the original Myle which broke on me and only lasted a year and a half. Fits 2005 Jaguar S Type 4.2 v8.

Unfortunately, one of the weak points can be the expansion tank and Jaguar. This tank seems to be the best I've ever used. It's worth the extra money for the quality. The hose has internal metal sleeper reinforcement and the fit was perfect. If it's not a genuine Jaguar part, it's the same or even better.

One of the major problems with these stock and some aftermarket Jaguar coolant reservoirs is a cracked or partially broken nipple tube at the top. This leads to coolant and pressure losses. This brand of Dorman has a metal grommet that is built into not only the small top nipple tube, but also where the top hose connects to the bottom of the tank.
