Unfortunately the fan only lasted three (3) and a half (1/2) months. Suddenly it stopped working and my car overheated. The car is overheating, the engine is damaged. Don't buy a Dorman 621-526 engine cooling fan unless you plan to pay big bucks to fix your car.

Attention buyers! I installed this on April 21st and on May 31st this thing almost caught fire. If I hadn't stopped doing this, there was a high probability that the blower motor would have smoked when I opened the hood. I turned it off and drove to the dealer with the heater on. Don't be me, just use an OEM part and save yourself the hassle.

This fan was replaced under warranty because the first one failed after 4 months. The car overheated badly. As I write this, I'm stuck in Mexico without a car because the new fan failed after only two months. It was expertly installed by brake masters. Paid for a fan, two installs, and now I'll pay for a new fan, towing, and install, and thinking about missing a day's work. Besides frustration. That's ridiculous.

I bought this fan assembly and the first one blew up in just 14 hours. I received a replacement and my temp sensor goes up a bit when the car is idling or air is added. The fan is not enough for my engine. I took it back to the dealer and was told to remove the junk from my car immediately. Many people have wrecked their engines with this item. My car didn't get hot before I bought this fan, I just replaced my stock fan because it was making a slight noise, it was misaligned.
