High quality hose set.

Don't waste time buying replacement t-shirts. they don't last. I'm a retired automotive technician with over 40 years experience and have replaced many "quick fixes" at other garages. This set is a direct replacement for the original curves and high quality clips.

Y-Fitting ripped after 2 years

Defective after 2 years. Suitable for 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L. I'll try the metal version of the Dorman and see how it holds up, or I'll just buy a fitting from the hardware store. The Y fitting broke after two years in Dorman parts.

I used one of the two. Two years later I ordered a second set.

I only used one of the two in the set because the other was fine. Easy assembly with good pliers. This is the second set I've bought and installed. The previous one lasted about two years. It broke right where the hose connected to the plastic Y-joint. This can be a weak point. I think I'll get to know myself better over the next two years.

For less than $60 and about 15 minutes of my time, this was fixed and much better. No more coolant drips on the exhaust manifold

Occurs quickly and is a common problem with these vans. The dealer offered me over $500 for the time and materials to fix it. For less than $60 and about 15 minutes of my time, this was fixed and much better. Coolant no longer drips onto the exhaust manifold. The dealer will want to replace the entire assembly (4677603AK) but most likely it is just this fitting. It was actually a higher quality component than the factory component, which used adjustable steel yokes instead of molded plasticโ€ฆ
