🔧 High-quality Dorman 674-501 Exhaust Manifold for Chevrolet and GMC Models Review

One of the boxes was missing anti-smog bolts. I will email Dorman to see if they can send it to me. Otherwise the collectors are what I expected.

The price was good but the quality when I got it was disappointing. I had to use different gaskets than the ones supplied because the manifolds were leaking with the gaskets that came with the manifolds.

Poor molding quality. VERY improper cast with jagged edges and misaligned holes. Bad finish. The necessary equipment was not available. save your money Buy Summit Racing or JEGS instead. Much higher quality and better price.

I used these on my 1981 Corvette. The factory headers had an AIR exhaust system with a smoke pump and EGR valve. I removed all of that to allow the engine to breathe better. Easy install, all required hardware included, great price. The factory scraps were rubbish.

Installed Corvette on a small block, couldn't fix it. After a lot of trial and error, I finally noticed that the molding was far from one of the screw holes, preventing the screw from going straight in. Of course, next to the firewall, that's the hardest to see. I was able to tweak it to make it work, but a lot of time and effort when a few bucks up front would have been worth more.

My brother in law needed this part for an old farm truck and he asked if I knew where to find it as he couldn't find it in stores. I told him I would check online and found this on Revain and he was thrilled when I quoted the price and I could have it in 3-5 days. He replaced an old cracked exhaust manifold, now his truck runs much smoother and doesn't blow flames out from under the hood.
