Exact fit for 2013 Fiat 500

Actually I installed two of these in 2019, one failed due to a horrible factory designed FIAT plastic clip that holds all the weight but is so small it can't support it . 2 1/2 years later Dorman still had the part under warranty and the replacement fit like the first time. Note: As far as failure goes, it's Dorman's fault that this design comes from Fiat. Dorman is forced to do the same to make it look like an OEM.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Safety

Window regulator and motor assembly will require trimming

The rubber grommets on the plastic bracket that hold the glass are a bit thicker so they will need to be trimmed a millimeter or two to allow the glass to be as low as possible to fit the clip in the hole. A suggestion for a bouncer or whoever the manufacturer of this part is might want to replace the plastic glass holder with a metal part, although it probably won't meet Fiat's specifications as this holder often breaks easily during normal window operation.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in white only

It's not worth it if the part doesn't fit.

Product arrived on time in nice packaging from supplier. The bad part has to do with where the regulator sits and where the glass is located. The plastic clip holding the hole in the glass is 1/4" away. The only thing holding it in place is a pair of zip ties. But my glass is now over the trailing edge when I open the window or drive below. I may have to spend extra money to replace the plastic holding the glass or send it back to Revain.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Easily breaks for window regulator and motor assemblies

Product was easy to install, took about 30 minutes to install. The Fiat I was installing on hadn't opened the window for a long time so I had to help the window put it back in place because the window was jammed so tight. Raised the window and left for a week to allow the jam to expand with the window. When I rolled it up a week later, it must have been tight because the plastic clip broke immediately. I didn't try to come down to give myself a chance to help or stop it, just snapped up right…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Fits

Not for power windows and motor blocks

When the product arrived you could tell it was a return and that the person had previously disassembled it. I had to compare the old block (glad it survived) and then assemble the new one. Call it 2.5 hours total if I have time to align the cables, re-grease and reassemble. After that, the installation continued straight away. Zero for approach and equipment was missing. Again, I kept the old parts to go with them. But the time spent on this assembly and repair can be called a waste. If all the
