Barley Lines in Aftermarket

. These OEMs I removed. I installed it today and I think it will work, but after getting the job done I don't think I'll save a penny again. I would just pay the extra $50 and buy an OEM part from Dieselorings.com.

  • Direct Replacement - This Engine Oil Cooler Gasket Kit is designed to mate with the original equipment gaskets needed to repair and restore proper operation of the oil cooler on certain vehicles.
Cons

Worked Great: Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Used this kit 3-maybe 4 different trucks 01 and 02 with no problems - - used petroleum jelly on the o-rings for lubrication to help slide - not a terrible job - two people really help - drain the radiator and remove the lower hose, attach and move it out of the way - remove the oil filter - reuse or change the oil at the same time 4 unscrew 10mm screw? Be careful, one truck had a worn bolt, probably 1/3 rusted, luckily it didn't come loose! Bought new parts from Ford. Some of the commented Ford

Pros
  • Restores functionality - This gasket kit is designed to fit and fully restore functionality to parts after the original gaskets have failed
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Installation error, Amazon got into the clutch! No leaks!

This is the dirtiest job I've ever done. Originally the oil filter head gasket didn't go evenly when cranked down, I didn't think about it too much just thought it would line up. Coolant leaked and looked like oil. Down the filter. I returned it under warranty and Amazon sent me another set with free shipping and a free returns label. I couldn't wait though, so I went to AutoZone and bought another set for $8. (Felpro) I wouldn't do it, but their manifold gaskets are made in the USA. There areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • MAKE SURE IT FITS - To make sure this part fits your car, enter the make, model and trim level into Amazon Garage.
Cons
  • Weight

In short, these parts suit me. Gaskets were cut to fit precisely for passages and screw holes. The O-rings were very tight. I hope this keeps them sealed well for a long time. OEM O-rings were installed in 2001 and the truck has clocked over 360,000 miles. That's a good run. Time will tell how long they last. Basically, I just never want to do this job again. This job sucks. Before attempting this, at least ask a reputable shop how much they will charge you for it. If they want more than $200โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction - these parts are made from quality materials to ensure reliable performance and long life
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
