A good thing! for dampers and mounts

This is what you need to replace the front shocks on a 2500 Suburban (or any other Suburban) as they are much heavier than the kit that comes with the shock absorbers was delivered. Worth the cost.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Fits perfectly with original

I had to buy these to replace the ones that come with aftermarket shocks. A must when replacing shock absorbers if you want to do it right. Don't forget the tops, sold separately. High quality with new technology

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Heavy Duty Pads & Mounts

These metal bushings are rated for very heavy duty and work on one side of the shock with the steel bushing going through the mounting hole and locking the shock securely in place. You must use one of the factory sockets on top as they are only for one side, the bottom. This is a quality item that should be installed on the front of the respective units when installing new shock absorbers.

Pros
  • Big Prize
Cons
  • Small Things

02 Silverado fits shocks, struts and suspension

Fits perfectly and is easy to install in about 10 minutes. My truck ran so bad it felt like a speed bump hitting a rock. I started changing the shocks but noticed that I don't have any bushings on the shocks at all. I put them in and now my truck drives like a Cadillac. Hit the tracks at 55 and hardly notice. Before everything blows away the dashboard and change from the ashtray. I'm very impressed with how much of a difference this little piece of rubber makes.

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • Has issues

Works great - couldn't ask for more

Used these to replace the upper shocks on my 2003 Tahoe (2WD). The shape is slightly different from the OE but eliminates play in the same way. Inexpensive, works great, you don't need more. BTW, take them to auto parts stores to make sure the shocks you buy will fit - the first 4 tries at AutoZone (and 1 pair from Revain) didn't fit properly. Having them handy at the time of purchase is a quick and easy way to verify that the upper shock is properly installed on your vehicle.
