Only lasted 3 months πŸ˜•

Only lasted 3 months before the horrible engine light came on again with the same code. When I tested it it didn't hold vacuum so I'll use a different brand this time.

Pros
  • Quality metal and plastic construction keeps the system working flawlessly year after year
Cons
  • Out of style

Superior quality at an affordable price

This attempt to turn off the check engine light has been replaced. While this was not the cause of the lights turning on, the quality appears to be the same as the OEM part. You won't find anything better for this money.

Pros
  • Engineered to withstand harsh road and weather conditions.
Cons
  • Updates

Result unclear

It may have worked. If yes, then not immediately. Since the evap code remained even after the exchange. But after a few nights when the car was sitting in sub-zero temperatures it cleared itself. Let's see if it comes back. I know a lot about OBD codes and I can say that they are not always as simple as you might think. Therefore the solenoid could fix it.

Pros
  • OE number: 1997201
Cons
  • There are problems
