As described. Best Parts

Does not have engine exhaust lights, should work as advertised. Modified with EGR. The EGR is rusted through. Changed it as a precaution. When I cut up the old one I was glad I decided to replace it as well. The electronics are badly rusted. The car is 14 years old, mileage 141,000, but still on the road.

DO NOT BUY THIS! fits spares

I put a new modulator in my car and the car ran absolutely horrible it was causing misfires in 3 different cylinders. I was trying to figure out what could be causing my car to perform so poorly after installing new parts. It never occurred to me that the problem was with the new modulator until a few days later I had the idea to put the old modulator back in and the car ran absolutely perfectly. I was just trying to get rid of my EGR DTC and that part only made things worse.

Pros
  • EGR Vacuum Solenoids
Cons
  • All OK

Didn't work for me: Exhaust and Emissions

I have a 2002 Mustang and it says this part will fit. It might fit and maybe I just got the bad part. I replaced the dpfe sensor (exhaust gas recirculation pressure feedback) and the EGR vacuum regulator at the same time. My DPF was so old it broke in the pipe, luckily I managed to get it out. I started my car and it ran like crap like there was something wrong with the air. Hard at idle, stalled, sounded like it was almost backfiring. I thought I screwed it up and dropped a piece of the broken
