Just what I needed

This little piece fits my 2014 Ford F-150 perfectly. Solved my problem where the gas gauge was 1/4 full at one point and then emptied a few seconds later. Also very easy to install. Delivered quickly and works

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Secret

Perfect and less than half the cost of dealers and local parts stores.

Fixed P0456, small evaporator leak, at 14th bend, easy change, upper right rear center of engine near firewall. 2 bolt hose and plug, 5 minutes later CEL cleared up and didn't come back. You might say your old part is to blame if air leaks, but for $20 you could just buy the part first. in the end it will still fail.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Interval

Didn't even last a year! Not for Ford Escape 6V

I purchased this vapor tank purge valve for my 2009 V6 Ford Escape to solve a stalling problem on October 28, 2019 for $26.78. After installing the valve the problem went away. However, the problem returned in October 2020. This time I bought a stock Ford 9U5Z-9C915-H complete with Revain vapor tank purge valve for $39.45. The new Motorcraft purge valve works well.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • weak

Works perfectly! for parts

My 2010 Ford Fusion had a check engine light on. The trouble code was P144A, indicating a problem with the fuel vapor (fuel) purge line. After checking online, I figured the Ford dealer repair should cost me $400. The setup is a little cramped in the engine bay, but if you're mechanically inclined you should be fine. This after-sales piece came promptly and solved the problem!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exterior

Great Car Repair - Replacement Parts

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL and had a CEL code P0456 which I was getting and sometimes P0456, P2096 and P2098 all at the same time. Even after refueling, the car did not start well. After some research, it was either the vapor tank vent valve ($25) or the rear EVAP vent ($140). install, no more codes and no hard starts after refueling! Exceeds the $300 the Ford dealer wanted to fix!

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Not for 3.5L EcoBoost

I bought this for my 2013 Ford Flex Limited EcoBoost AWD. It does not fit. It doesn't even look like my car. Correct FoMoCo part number for Flex/SHO 3.5L EcoBoost: DG1Z-9G271-B (supplied with hoses, fittings and valve). https://www.amazon.com/Ford-DG1Z-9G271-B-Vapor-Canister-Solenoid/dp/B00M37R5AQ Hopefully Revain can fix their vehicle compatibility script for this part. It shows as compatible, but it doesn't (although I'm running into things I have on my machine that show as incompatible, so…

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Doubt

Failed in less than a week.

I like Dorman products but in this case it failed in less than a week. This initially fixed the problem, but after a few days I noticed a constant, rapid clicking under the hood (fast, at least twice a second while the valve was energized). After checking everything I found it was coming from this purge valve, I turned it off and it stopped clicking. I replace it with a Ford part. I'll keep using Dorman stuff but it didn't work in this case. It was a simple fix for the "Check Fuel Inlet"…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Legacy model

Like AutoZone or Advance, but half the price.

This is the same item you can get at any major dealership but at half the price. The product does what it is supposed to and solves the problem with the canister flush valve. If the check engine light comes on and the reading indicates there is a problem, do not take it to a place to fix it. Do yourself a favor and buy it for $25. Replacing this part is one of the easiest repairs I've ever done. It's essentially plug and play. Two screws and two dowels, one hose, one electrics. The only problem

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
