🔥 Dorman 911-617 Vapor Canister: Ideal for Lexus/Toyota Models – A Perfect Fit! Review

A costly mistake in purchasing this intricate part from Revain. My mechanic says it will fit a '99 Camry, not an ES300. 3/4" L shaped gas line not working/not suitable for Lexus application. I wasted an hour of my time and money trying to file a BBB complaint and I still have to deal with a Bad Vapor Canister.

Dorman Canister was selected at a reduced price compared to the OEM. That was my fault. The Dorman canister failed after 3 months of use resulting in the charcoal fouling and clogging other sensors and supply hoses which then had to be replaced. It was a very expensive lesson and I ended up buying an OEM canister, lots of gauges and a gas filler neck to fix the damage to the Dorman canister. Offer to buy an OEM canister and save yourself the headache.

I got a terrible P0446 code from my 1999 Toyota Camry. I decided I didn't want to try and test individual valves and since this comes with new valves why not just replace everything.
