Yes it will work although it looks different

Much better design and cheaper. Also more reliable. Installs easily in place of an old metal MAF sensor and costs about half the price.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons

Looks cheap

Although the appearance of this product appears to be of poor quality compared to what it replaced, it solved my problem at a very low price and is the right form and function really replaces the original .

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Has a jitter it didn't have before

2001 4.3 now has a jitter the old one didn't have, but the old one installed a code (can't remember the code) and turned off power for a long time Time under WOT. Something is wrong with it, but there are no codes, neither soft nor hard.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • little things

Fits perfectly where the old tube used to be

Fits perfectly where the old tube used to be! Don't let the round shape fool you, my old one was square, it's just an updated version that covers many uses. I replaced it with a 3.1 liter Chevy Lumina LS 98 using the cable adapter that came with it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

You get what you pay for! Stick to AC Delco

Used this to fix stumbling when my truck was cold. The part took care of this problem, but after a few months I started noticing an intermittent p0172/p0175 check engine light. Highway LT fuel trim was -17%. Disabled sensor and trim went well. Tried other used OE sensor, all ok. The website says it is not possible to return an item that is already 3 months old. Stay away from engine control sensors!

Pros
  • Full Set
Cons
  • Empty

Wouldn't recommend it.

Not a very good product, I ordered it in November (four months ago), received it in two days and installed it without any problems. A month ago I noticed that my truck's RPM fluctuates while driving. This week my truck started idling really badly. I ran the code that showed up as P103 (Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit High). I then disabled the MAF to ensure the truck was running properly. So now I need to replace the other MAF I just replaced. A little annoyed and annoyed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
