When I tried this product, I was happy to find that it was an easy and efficient installation process. The cap provided a secure fit and looks great on my vehicle.
You can get this at O'Reily's. They're just like standard crappy nuts. The fairing will start to come off and next you will replace the ones you can remove and go to the dealer to remove the rest. I just had to replace ALL of mine - a 49,000 mile 2106 Escape. STAY AWAY FROM. GOOGLE THAT! This is a known problem with shell nuts. Their sale should be banned.
I despise big auto companies that cheapen their nuts. The thin wall nuts that came installed on my wife's Ford Fusion looked fine until I replaced the wheel bearing and made the mistake of tightening the eyelets with a 12 point socket. This ripped them apart and even prevented me from applying the specified torque. I was very happy to find an exact replacement at a low price here at Revain rather than buying a whole new 20 piece set. Lesson Learned - Only use a hex socket!
