Dorman CC649049 Clutch Combo Master + Slave Cylinder Assembly Review

It was very easy to install and I liked that it was pre-primed to eliminate air bubbles. However, about 16 months after I installed it, it broke and I had to buy a new one.

Fitted my 2003 Jeep Wrangler with no problems. The packaging could have been better, mine was just boxed. When I received it, a part was sticking out of the box in two different places.

Push rod and parts were missing from 1st batch. After contacting Dorman I sent it back to Revane and received a new batch with all the details. Successfully fitted to a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport X. Works well!

After I bought a working cylinder for my Jeep Wrangler and found I couldn't bleed the system, I bought this one. 30 minutes away. Worked great AND only cost $11 more than just the slave cylinder. Fantastic article! I would buy again.

direct replacement for 2.4 2003 Tj Wrangler. Pre-filled system so the dirty work is already done. The only thing you might run into is being intuitive when the plastic bushing preventing the master cylinder from shifting to the clutch pedal breaks because it's too brittle or you have no choice but to break it. If so, find the 7/16 electronics clamps and some washers and cut the stock hub down to remove the rest of the broken teeth holding it in place.
