After modification, it is a great value!

Would have been 5 stars if it didn't need to be slightly modified as others have said. Grind the bolt body to fit. I'm also thrilled that a metal slave cylinder costs less than $50.

    Pros
    • Great for a small home
    Cons
    • Slightly torn

But it worked! suitable for transmission and transmission

I installed this on an Audi a4 b6 and everything worked fine. My trans turned off when I installed it. I had to change the mounting hole, it didn't match and the stem end was very loose in the gear casting. I used an old rubber boot to improve the seal on this end. With a gearbox in the car I would never have been able to install it.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Communication with seller

There are some landing issues, but nothing can be fixed.

There are some installation issues - you will probably need to grind two small grommets around the bolt hole to fit your gearbox. This can be a problem for you when changing the slave cylinder in the car. So remember that you have to change it first. I have found these cast iron blocks to be more reliable than plastic SACHS slave cylinders.

    Pros
    • One year trial
    Cons
    • New competitors have arrived

    Big mistake. Consistently liquid.

This slave cylinder was holding air. I have bled the clutch properly several times but still get pressure loss over time. Finally, today the slave cylinder failed catastrophically. I suspect the internal seal is defective. I also suspect that this seller knew this when they sold this item as new. Life has a way of catching up with thieves. Good luck to all.

    Pros
    • Decent performance

great product, great value for money

It's quite stronger than the original slave cylinder. Please note that this cylinder requires a little work before installation. The area around the mounting screw must be rounded to ensure a good fit on the gearbox wall. While it only takes 10-15 minutes, it's not exactly a bolt-on application. Otherwise a great product that is worth the money.

    Pros
    • Pleasant to use
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember

2001 Audi S4 and 2003 Audi Allroad LEAKING

Although the product description says the cylinder works on the 2001 Audi S4 and 2003 Audi Allroad, my experience has been that the slave cylinder on both vehicles LEAKS is. After grinding the tabs and installing the slave as per other reviews, the slave lost all liquid 8 weeks after installation leaving me stranded. I would not recommend this slave cylinder for these vehicles and find the installation instructions imprecise. The slave only works with newer cars.

    Pros
    • Easy to read control panel
    Cons
    • Fits
