Used on 2004 Trek MH dashboard. You have to screw on the fittings and press on the little plastic tabs. Access is really the main problem.

It was a little frustrating to climb onto the air vents in my 1979 Jeep J10 (narrow fit), but it was worth it. Now the air actually reaches the windshield vents! I only needed half a pack. This pack has 6 feet of tubing, it's stretchable.

Do yourself a favor and buy a better product. This channel is made of wafer-thin plastic with a spring attached to the inside. Any tampering with the tubing will result in cracking or delamination of the plastic. The only good thing about this duct system is that it's half the cost of the original material.

I used it to replace the defroster air hoses in a 1969 F100 dash. I simply cut it to length and used a black tie on both ends. Works great, fits snugly in the heater box and defroster vents. The original Ford air hoses are flatter in some places, but the material bends and flattens quite easily. I cut it with pliers. That was enough for both air ducts, leaving about 18 inches.
