Perfect fit for spares

This was the perfect replacement for my truck. Everything was replaced before that and I still had problems with the brakes. I'm happy to say thank you to places like YouTube. I thought I'd try that and that fixed it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Didn't work properly

Didn't work properly. Although this is the correct part number for my application, this item did not work. This causes all the brakes to brake and overheat. The best I can say is that the butt hole wasn't drilled properly. Save yourself the headache and buy an ACDelco instead.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

New but 1 port has no flow when pumping the stand

I was going to install today but 1 port has 0 flow if not pressed quickly and fully. I'm pretty sure there are no seals inside. It's been 30 days for me so it looks like I screwed up. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed with a Dorman product, maybe this time I've learned my lesson.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • little things

The plastic was torn, we pray that this PART works and nobody sends it back because it was defective. AMAZON shd has confirmed delivery of this material b4. Funny, but my speedometer and the part were already in the SHOP in the bay with the old part removed when the guy came to show us that it was open. So I took the picture but we had to pay for him to take it off already so we let him wear that part.

Not new but broken

I ordered the master cylinder. Revane's Garage said it suited my needs. I checked the description and photos. Everything was good. I got the wrong model. I sent it back and ordered another one. I got a good one, but it wasn't new, it was used. Please check the photos. The master cylinder was damaged and brake fluid was smeared all over. Update: I have another one and the same problem. I had to order a new one. Finally, today I received a different master cylinder, but it was damaged.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Excellent replacement: hydraulic parts

there was a sponge pedal and could not understand what was the reason. No leaks, new pads. Switched this master cylinder to my Sierra and the pedal is much better. Since GM has stopped replacing them at the factory, this works perfectly. Don't forget to upgrade this unit on the time bank. Hopefully the stainless steel brake hoses will take care of the rest of the sponge pedal. UPDATE A few years later I'm back to square one. sponge pedal. Everything bled dry, gone over and over again. I'll try…

Works as OEM available!

This is an OEM MC and tank in every respect. It installs with four screws and the only highly recommended step is to bleed the bench to save effort after installation. Got a supply of blood? No, I installed them and then bled and filled them, but bench bleed results in faster performance. I had a soft pedal in my Silverado 03 (not everyone!) and I replaced all the brake lines due to rust so while the system was drained I replaced the MC and flex lines (same manufacturer). After that the pedal…
