This cover is very soft, almost rubbery and very thin compared to the thick hard OEM plastic. The shields that go under the fender do not fit well - they are almost 5mm thick on the original part and only 1mm thick on the new one. But in general, for such a price, the thing is normal and, most likely, due to its softness, will last a long time.

It's not a perfect OEM replacement as it won't last but it did the job. Maybe one or two of the clip holes weren't aligned, but that's fine if you have zip ties to connect them to other plastic. With cable ties you can achieve a good hold on the car frame so that the plastic does not get caught in the parking eyelets.

I bought this to replace a broken engine fender on my 2009 Civic Hybrid. This is NOT an OEM product. It's a much thinner and more fragile piece, and the locking holes don't all line up on the bottom. However, a 3/8" drill bit was all I needed to place the holes in the right place. Hope this lasts long. 100,000km to go.

This is far from OEM quality - it's a lot thinner and the material it's made of seems pretty cheap. I had the impression when installing that it could tend to tear. On the other hand, a genuine Honda part is hard to come by and will likely cost four times as much. So if you're like me and just looking for something to keep water out then go for it. If for some reason you're tempted by the idea of leaving your old Civic next to camp, you're going to be disappointed.
