Ours broke on our 2008 Surburban. The button on the sunroof became finicky, as did the sunroof itself, it no longer opened automatically, we had to open the door manually which wasn't a problem. But the motor started stalling inside and then the latch stopped locking, so we bought it along with a new knob. Super EASY replacement, it took maybe 1/2 hour to remove the old one and install the new one. Works perfect!

I bought this for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade because my power tailgate stopped working. At first it was noisy like opening but no. Then it stopped and wouldn't open.
