If you are looking for something authentic I would recommend something else! If you are looking for something to pair with a kilt for St Patrick's Day or perhaps your local Renaissance festival then this is perfect, especially for the price! It worked great and I'm sure it will continue!
Just enough room for a money clip and my Bond Arms .410, that's all I need. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality given the low price. The zipper works well. There are no free connections. Very well done!
This was what I was looking for: a basic sporran for the first time and not too expensive. The reason for the 4 stars is that the skin is very hard. Hopefully it will soften up a bit over time. But it will be a good casual sporran to wear with my versatile kilts etc. I will look for a better one for more dress up occasions. I wish it was easier to snatch. But I had a stroke and my hands/fingers aren't working very well. But it's not the athlete's fault.
My first sporran, hard/hard rubs on the handlebars but easily gets out of the way. Bought this looks good to the casual observer, especially from a distance. Wallet, keys, mobile phone everything fits, there is still space.
If you wear this once or twice a year it's probably a good investment. Good size and construction seems good enough for easy carrying. BUT, it specifically says it comes with a belt and if I'm preparing to go to an event where I plan on wearing it. no belt. My advice: buy this on a margin so you don't get stuck without a belt.
This sports set is very good. The sporran itself is genuine leather, but the straps that attach at the back are laminated. At some point they will probably have to be replaced. For size comparison. It's big enough for a .38 snub nose and a cell phone! The silver emblem is also metal, not plastic. Overall happy with this purchase.
