I really like this two-handed knife! It does the job for me, great purchase. I only sharpened it to see if I could because it's so big and it worked fine.

This knife is huge! It is very durable - there is nothing fragile in it. The double handle is ideal for large cuts. I use it for melting and pouring soap.

I am buying 25 lb blocks of Melt and Pour soap. This knife is like the internet. I can't remember cutting these soap bars before I got them. I have attached a photo of me and my knife. I also recorded some of my work.

I don't know why I didn't think of this when trying to figure out how to cut a 10 inch bar of soap, especially since I've been using it to break cheese circles at my work. But it's PERFECT for lathering. I was able to return my husband's butcher knife. But be careful, it's sharp - I cut myself cleaning the other day!

I've been looking for something like this for a long time to cut handmade soap. When I make a full loaf of soap, I use this dual-handled knife to cut it into 1-inch pieces. When purchasing, remember this is a BIG knife. I bought to cut circles out of homemade cheese and it certainly does the job. Razor sharp but I haven't found how long it lasts and sharpness yet. It comes with a cardboard sleeve which should last a while with a little care. It would be easy enough to make a replacement when the time comes.
