Genuine leather belt, one of the best belts I have ever bought

Surprised that it is genuine leather. I worked part time in the leather industry for about 2 years and had some knowledge of leather. I can say that it is 100% real leather. Belt cuts into stomach and back

This belt is approximately 1/2 inch wider and barely fits through jean loops. It also cuts into my stomach and waist. Because it's too wide, it bends and twists every time I wear it. Unfortunately, this all happened the first time I wore it, so I can't return it. I bought a brown belt and a black belt, one for me and one for my dad. Both have these problems.
