I gave this set 3 stars. The wiring harness and radio mounts worked well. The mounts are plastic so they are easy to modify. The antenna adapter was also fine. Now for the not so good ones. The hole for the radio was too small, although several reviews of other similar kits also had this issue. I had to remove 1/16" completely to fit the 4/7" screen. I used this to install a 7 inch touch screen stereo in my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. The last facility looks great, but it wasn't easy to get there. It was fairly easy to put in place, however it's not easy to thread the nuts onto the unthreaded plastic posts (as others have pointed out). It's not easy This kit mounts the stereo with a stock Dodge, so it takes a few trial fits to find the right height, depth and angle. In general the kit works well.

I have an '03 Dodge RAM 1500 and the wiring harness fits great, the antenna adapter works great. the original came out and if you want to put it back it will be very difficult to put it back on the original. This dashboard kit is OK. The bezel is decent, but the fit and finish doesn't suit my application, an '04 Dodge Ram 1500, for some reason. The 'self-tapping' nuts are by no means self-tapping screws. They expend an inordinate amount of force in turning to force them to continue their period. I don't think they could have been tightened without the impact and a lot of force which actually resulted in more plastic breakage. Not the best product. Generally speaking, if you are looking to install a double din stereo in your Ram 02-05 truck, this is a good option to replace the 1.5 din stereo front panel. My only complaints so far: 1. The rear holes where the temperature controls and bottom shell bolt on. They do not line up exactly with the mounting holes, which can cause them to splinter when screwed in. And 2. Self-tapping screws are not screws, but fastening nuts. An impact wrench with a 11mm deep socket loosened it easily. However…

This part looks very nice and is almost OEM. However, the cutout for the screen doesn't quite match the angle of the radio. The angle of this cutout is a few degrees up, but the radio shield mounts are more vertical, leaving a gap at the bottom edge of the radio cutout where you can see down and where dust can get in.
