This is a leather strip that looks like plastic! A step forward from tape. I use it to cover up damage my cockatoo caused to my husband's chair. It's handy for that.

All the straps on my armor are made from this product. Surprisingly strong and thick, and because it's "plastic" it bonds well with most adhesives. Highly recommended, will definitely stock up.

I've been looking for a vegan alternative strap material for my creations for a long time. Tried many varieties. Faux leather and rubber, but neither seemed to match. Until I found this article. It's so similar to my regular oil tan leather that my products are almost identical whether it's cowhide or synthetic. Easy to work with and durable. Not easily deformed when stretched. A little expensive per square meter compared to my skin but well worth it.
