Kind of delusional. . .

The fine print on Douk audio compact amps says they can only achieve the advertised WPC with a 24v charger. But they come with a 19V charger. I wrote and asked why. They said 24V was oversized and too expensive. In such a case, you should advertise a real possible WPC with the supplied charger.

Saved me some space where my dead bookshelf system used to be.

Sounds good. Not a ton of power, but it gets the job done. I set the slider to around 30% power and can make the room loud enough by adjusting the volume on my phone. Makes a click when connecting/disconnecting bluetooth, and that confuses me a bit. I don't know how to force disconnect the device, but let's hope it doesn't happen.

Revised rating! fits amp

still a great amp after a while! But the Bluetooth thing really pisses me off! I don't use bluetooth, but sometimes the amp "detects" the input signal automatically and switches to bluetooth beep. I've already removed the antenna and I can go with wire cutters! If you don't use Bluetooth, DO NOT BUY THIS AMPLIFIER! There doesn't seem to be an option to turn it off!

Very impressive little amp

Super compact amplifier with an attractive and functional design, solid metal construction, good sound and performance, Bluetooth and AUX input, at a great price. I like the old school volume control with the built in power button. I bought several of these to include in my retail speakers and ended up keeping one for myself. This will definitely be my go-to choice for mini amps going forward.

  • Great for a small home

Good receiver and amp of its kind

This amp works perfectly. The compact size is nice. This little black amp is almost invisible on a black bookshelf speaker. It's nice to have an amp that takes up so little space. The build quality is excellent. It doesn't look cheap at all. I am happy with this purchase. I like that volume control and power on/off are the same controls. With all amps, I always turn the volume down before turning them off. The sound quality is good enough. The bookshelf speakers I use are excellent - Boston…

Store-bought versions in silver and black / Small powerful amplifier!

Edit Added: I just bought the silver version to match some peripherals and hooked it up to a Miccas MB42X. The MB42X speakers make a bigger difference tonally than the little guy without the tweeter, and the unregulated amplifier doesn't get bogged down at high frequencies. hit the middle tone. There's nothing special about Miccas, but the amp is good enough for what it is. I actually hooked up a small amp to a set of vintage Klipsch KSB 2.1s and the amp matched it pretty well. I'm not a music…

I'm a good little amp!

I was given this amp to replace a Sony Dolby Pro Logic Receiver that a colleague gave me as a gift with a complete system that he no longer needs. I have two good two-way Sony front speakers and a passive subwoofer from the system. After hooking up the system, I started doing what everyone else does. Browse your music collection to check the audio. VCMG, The Digital Blonde, Ghost and Tame Impala for starters. The sound output is quite impressive with the included power supply. So I played Bruce

My first thoughts are: amp

I got this little amp today so I didn't have time to play with it. I've used Lepai before so I can do a little comparison. First a caveat: I'm not a music lover, I just listen to music sometimes. I paid full price for the amp. I use it with a pair of Pioneer SP-BS22 AJ bookcases. As source I use my TV, iPhone/iPad or FiiO X3ii media player. So here's my first impression: Pro: The sound is good. I don't think there is much difference between this and Lepay. They use the same chip 3116. Compact…
