Replacement filter for my mother's dual cartridge Doulton filtration system under the sink. Exactly the same as the original filter but at a better price than other places.

I like that our water tastes better. What surprised me was that it was thinner than what was there. Otherwise, he worked at the level of standards.

I've been using these for years, they're great and I wouldn't use anything else! CONS: It has always been difficult to ensure the filter connects properly at the top when installed as you don't see it when you screw on the hard canister. Not a filter problem, but a related one.

Not only is this a bit pricey, it's a good filter. I prefer reverse osmosis water filters to this ceramic filter, but since I'm reviewing the filter itself and not the entire product, I'll just say the filter is fine. You have to be careful how tight you tighten the filter housing as I think the latter broke after less than a year of use.

I've been using this product for 2 years in an area where drinking tap water is GUARANTEED to make you ill! I've never had stomach problems. I use it for drinking water, coffee, tea, etc., washing fruits and vegetables (after bleaching) and every time I cook pasta. It does not remove minerals needed for good health. Therefore, your water may contain calcium or other beneficial substances. But in my experience it does not contain any heavy metals or bacteria. Good product!

Excellent filter for third world countries. I've been using them in Equatorial Africa for almost 10 years and have never gotten sick from our drinking water, even though the source is a swamp a few miles away.
