Love the book on crafts and hobbies

Love the book but for those who have no idea about oregami in general. It will be very difficult to understand their steps to create a product. You need a better explanation of paper folding. .with paper that has shading for everyone to understand. This is a beautiful work of art that requires time and a lot of patience. Have fun and enjoy the results.

Origami loving daughter loves it

My 14 year old daughter is into origami and even taught origami at our local library. She found modular origami online and asked for this book for Christmas. She finds it very easy to use and the creations she creates are beautiful. Note: it is imperative that you work your way up to this level; this is not a book for beginners.

  • I look forward to

Nice book but buy some glue sticks

I gave this book 5 stars because it's a nice book with clear instructions. But just a note: these kusodama mostly don't interlock like other types of modular origami. If you want your sculptures to stay together you will need to use glue at the connection points. Ordinary dry transparent glue sticks worked well for me.

Pros
  • Complete set

  • Unfashionable

Great book on crafts, hobbies and home

This is a great book for those projects if you are more advanced in this paper craft. I'm just a beginner/intermediate so I'm having a really hard time doing this at the moment. Maybe in the near future, with practice, I can make something out of this book. The beautiful pictures and instructions are graphic instructions and can be difficult to follow.

I liked the book, but it has weaknesses.

I love the author and all her works. I gave four stars because none of the models looked good. Don't get me wrong, I've been doing origami for almost 9 years now. I can do almost anything and it will look amazing. However, a description of the types of paper used would be very helpful here. I have the feeling that I always chose the wrong models. Heavy paper has worked well on a few models, but none of the difficult ones. However, complex models had really bad locking systems and destroying…

Beautiful Unique Patterns

What I love about this book is the variety of kusudama. A book has geometric and floral elements, while origami books usually focus on one or the other. as thoughtful as the models themselves. The illustrations are simple and understandable, even with more complex designs. (Nothing is more frustrating than going halfway through a module only to find that the instructions don't make any sense.) I also like that while there are models that are easy for a beginner to understand, there are models…
