I had to ask a friend for this but I found the cover can be put back in the storage bag. The case is exactly what I wanted and it's 1/3 the cost of the case with the pole and shield on it.

Just add a separate unattached bag to this thing. Please. I just see myself trying to put it back in that POS bag while standing outside in the rain. It's made for a Harley, not a Honda. Lots of loose threads to trim. Clearly made in China. Durability can be questionable. No Dowco quality.

Took with me on my annual two week road trip. Was in Florida during the rainy season this year so that came in really handy. Love it, packs up easily and I basically dry myself with a hotel towel napkin before repacking. The bike stayed dry even in good old Florida downpours. Takes up very little space in the saddlebag.

This cover was made for a Honda touring bike as shown in the picture. I customize my BMW k1600GT well, but it's not perfect. I would still recommend it if you have a GT and are looking for a half cover. Good quality of materials, the work is a bit like a tent in my opinion. If something touches the inside, water will enter you. I use both front pin hooks as shown. Also, I have a "short antenna" so I don't have to remove the OEM antenna every time.

This half cover was purchased with the intention of at least covering the seats for long term parking. My boyfriend loves this case and uses it more often than his full case. Fits 2016 Ultra Limited with Tour Pack 2" moved back than max stock, armrests and extended mirrors without feeling overly stretched with a straight bike. Tighter but doable with locked fork.
