You need to make the rubber piece big enough to really create suction. Otherwise it does not work with any standard toilet.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I didn't have to use the plunger until two days after closing the rear window. It's useless unless you stick your hand under the lid - straight into the toilet water.

Haven't had a chance to test it yet (luckily?), but it's nice and keeps well in the can. It also has a cylindrical plastic shell inside the container that ultimately houses the plunger. I bet you can take it off to clean it. The downside is that it's a light, oily bronze (see Bed Bath & Beyond Bronze Brush Cleaner on the side) with little shine.

I can't even bring it inside. The plunger is on the small side so I'm not sure how well it will work. I will update my review when the smell goes away and I like how it works. So after sitting outside on my porch for a few days, the metal parts smell nice. But the rubber on the butt still stinks of cigarette smoke. I can't and won't have it in my house. This is a bad product. i give it back Either way, it's way overpriced for what you actually get. It's small and cheap.
