I use them all the time - for my hair and extensions. I especially like to use them for crocheted updos. My dog once got close to them and chewed on them and these things are so durable that few have been damaged beyond repair. I just wish there were some really "big ones". Big ones are just long, not big barrel shaped ones. However, I love these!

Definitely worth buying. You get a lot of rods and trust me there are a lot of them. The different sizes you get give you options for every hair length possible. Great for achieving different styles.

Should mean long and short permanent waves, not small and not big. As other reviews have said these are very small diameters which make for very tight curls. Even using the largest, they were still too small for my hair length. At the same time there were a lot of rods in the kit at a good price.

I received the item shortly after ordering and to be honest I was surprised by the quality. I am very thankful that this is a quality item and that they provided extra rubber bands to fix the pole if it breaks. The price itself is thieves, regularly in cosmetic stores one pack costs 6-8 dollars if I bought the whole batch!
