Dozenegg Triple Measuring Glass Ounce Review

Like other reviewers, our measuring cup broke when placed in the microwave. We had dozens of glass measuring cups and not one broke in the microwave. DO NOT BUY THIS. It's hard to find a decent measuring cup that will pour properly (Pyrex, what's up?) or whose markings won't wear off for a year. I agree with the other reviewer, this is not rocket science! Inaccurate measurement! Nice as a decoration, but nothing more. I checked the measurements with the scale. 1 cup of water weighs 8 ounces. First, I checked my old Pyrex measuring cup. I tared the weight of the cup myself, then poured water until the scale read 8 ounces. Note in the picture this is exactly 1 cup in the pyrex measuring cup. I bought this because of the beaded sizing markings which was really awesome. My kitchen tools get a lot of use and the dishwasher quickly erases the marks on my measuring cups. I really liked the raised markings. Everything else wasn't very good. The handle is a closed loop, which means it cannot be placed in another cup. All three spouts have the same shallow depth, which means liquids must be poured slowly and with extra attention and control, otherwise the liquid will overflow and squirt…

I was hoping this measuring cup would, mmm, fit. It's not like this. I wanted to replace the 2 cup plastic measuring cup that doesn't pour to prevent liquid from running down the side under the spout. This one is just as bad. Pyrex cups don't pour well either.
