I recently bought Dr. Discovered Bronner and fell in love with her. I started with mint and quickly bought lavender and tea tree oil. The smells are strong and slightly "hemp-like", but generally pleasant. Some may be too sensitive to this because the scent of lavender is strong and not a "commercial" lavender scent; more earthy than floral. Great but the lavender smell is too strong for me. I am allergic to trees, pollen and grass so the product causes a reaction in my sinuses when I am off and using medication. But not so bad that I keep sneezing. Just a slight irritation, FYI, try a bar of soap if you're sensitive or have a headache from strong smells.

If you love natural products then this is for you. It smells great and lathers well. This makes your hair dry so I use Argon and/or Moroccan oil on my hair afterwards. I can say there have been no scalp or skin reactions and my hair hasn't looked better in a long time. It is also positioned as a body soap. I don't shampoo and have fine blonde typically Caucasian hair. I saw that many of the reviews were for people with thicker hair so I was skeptical at first. But this product works great for me! It lathers well on my hair, so I prefer it over organic soap. I'm not kidding when I say it only takes a nickel sized dose to lather my entire scalp. I'm very glad I found this.

I first bought this facial cleanser a few months ago and it was fantastic! I use it once a day and twice a day when I put on my makeup. It helped me get rid of acne on my face completely. One thing I noticed is that if you don't use moisturizer it dries your face out. I also love how this soap can be used for many purposes, not just the body.

I use it as a shower gel. I can't get enough of the lavender scent. He even lingers in the bathroom after taking a shower. I've been a long time fan of Dr. Bronner. It is just right but the small size is not suitable for the shower but best for the sink. Cannot be compared to castile soap for clean feeling and refreshment after washing. You can wash your hair, brush your teeth and wash everything around, he does everything.
