Typically the contents are relatively thick and medium to dark amber in colour. However, this version is light to medium yellow and the contents were very thin. I have been using this material for many years. Nothing will make you cleaner than this soap. Nothing else even comes close. First of all, do not use this material directly for bathing. It's too strong and will dry out your skin to an uncomfortable point. Mix it 1:1 with clean water and it will be much more comfortable to work with. I firmly believe in Dr. Bronner's soap and have been using it since college. Now I am 64 years old and I pass it on to others.
