Dr Slick Spring Scissor Handles Review

I use it to cut appliqué fabric. Unfortunately I've used them on some marine vinyls and now they don't work. I will only keep this pair for vinyl and I have ordered another one for fabric.

These scissors are for fly tying, but I don't fish. I use them to cut threads on fabrics that I sew on my machine. They are ideal for placing under the presser foot and cutting threads close to the fabric. I used the previous pair for many years before one of the handles broke due to metal fatigue. It took me a long time to find this replacement as all sewing stores had blades with curved ends. I bought 2 pairs this time.

I have a couple of these that I bought a few years ago. I love them so much I decided I needed a pair for my travel bag. I was a bit disappointed when they arrived as they are smaller than the ones I've bought before. A little - only about half an inch, but the item is the same. Obviously they changed the way they are measured. However, the quality is exactly the same. They are very comfortable to hold and work great.
