2 identical bottles sent in a repackaged box

We are not sure how to go about this, we had already opened the bottle and started using it when we realized it was us 2 bottles of "Part A" sent for mixing. This is unacceptable.

Easy blending and great nuances.

Weighing in two works best for me and adding color is easy as it blends very evenly throughout the product. I use it in the closed form and it still fits perfectly at the 4 o'clock mark.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Too long to wait

just use regular 20T

The dragon skin didn't seem to have cured even after 48 hours, I ended up making a mold out of 20T and it cured in less than a few hours with no problems. it could have been user error in the mix, but I'm also not sure if the device kept the air bubbles in my pressure vessel. where again there was no 20T. In my honest review go with 20T.

Not Terrible

It's not terrible, it's a little rough to work with because it looks so difficult to mix and has a lot of air bubbles. If using this for small items, use a high pressure pan. It served its purpose, but it's expensive and not suitable for large items, it's just too small and difficult to shuffle. It feels very durable and strong and molds well. order again. You definitely want ALL the prep done before you start mixing.

When it works, it works well.

Although I have a solid 50/50 for this product, does it work or not. My fault twice. Last time, however, I had no idea what went wrong. Part A arrived and the foil was loose. At first I didn't think about it. I mixed parts A and B thoroughly before mixing them together. And it seemed a little thicker than usual. I poured silicone over what I wanted and waited. 12 hours later and half the silicone wouldn't set and messed up the objects I was trying to cast.

Pros
  • Pour and Pour
Cons
  • You could go for a newer model

Good product / Poor packaging and delivery

Material works as expected. If you've used another of Smooth On's platinum cured silicones, you know what to expect. I've found this material to be much more viscous than the smooth Ecoflex silicone I usually work with. For this reason, at least one pressure vessel would be needed for bubble-free castings, a degassing chamber would also be a good addition. The packaging of the product was inadequate. It came to me with a good leak on the A side so I lost some of the stuff I paid for. Not sureโ€ฆ
