I wanted to have such a tool on hand, but then my shaft was blocked. I decided to give it a try and after a few minutes of work the bottom spout flowed as it should. Definitely saved some money.

It came in a tool bag which I appreciated very much it worked well even when I had to drill a small hole in a drain pipe outlet six feet behind a clog when the Constipation two feet out of the sink. But it worked when all else failed. The snake is in a beautiful plastic drum. So I will use the tool bag for other tools.

This drain drill comes in handy when I need it. The spring coil at the end grabs and pulls out hair or hard objects. However, I don't think this will do much for oily clogs. I also like that it's manual as many augers have electric motors to turn them and they are quite bulky and need power. There is a support on the handle so that the heavy end with the metal spring can rest on the back of the hand, making it more comfortable. This is really great for clearing clogged sink or shower drains. Just remember to take your time and be patient as you move around a bit as the line cleans the pipes as they move. This product was used to clean a bathtub drainpipe after one of my children threw a baby rag down the drain as the drain plug is just a plug. I had to access the clogged pipe in the basement because I couldn't use the drum trap to clear the clogged drain from the tub.
