Perfect Fit for Towing My Trailer

Based on my experience, this mount is a must-have for all RV owners who are towing a trailer. The hollow shank design allows for easy insertion into the hitch and the fit is perfect .It is a sturdy and reliable solution that provides the required strength and stability for towing. The only downside is that it is a little on the heavy side but this is not a major concern. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it..

Pros
  • Easily adjustable to fit most vehicles
Cons
  • Hollow shank reduces weight capacity compared to solid shank mounts

Terrible RV Hitch Mount

The Draw Tite 40205 Hollow Shank Mount is a complete waste of money. According to my experience, this product is poorly designed and does not lock securely onto the hitch. It rattles and jerks the RV while driving, making for an uncomfortable ride. The only pro is that it is relatively easy to install. However, the cons far outweigh the pros, and I do not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable RV hitch mount..

Pros
  • Strong and durable construction that can withstand heavy loads
Cons
  • Piggy bank-breaking price

Top quality, great value for money, £10,000

Top quality and great value for money. to get a pretty decent drop to level most followers. This maximizes my towing capacity of 8300 pounds. I used a 10" drop on a very small trailer that was a little shorter just because the frame, springs, wheels etc made it ride lower. With a decent trailer on a standard 15 LTZ suburb, this works very well.

Pros
  • 1-1/4 inch ball joint
Cons
  • Modern
