Does not meet US standards.

Does not light up. Coming to find out after a full install with connectors shrunk and all my fairings installed to hide the wires. I turn on the power and nothing. It installed correctly. Just like my old ones fell off. Black wire to black wire and white wire to white wire. I took off the front cover and noticed that the black wire is soldered to the w which stands for white. And the white wire is soldered to b for black. These are retarded. So I cut and redid all my work to go from white to…

  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Very expensive

Expensive and cheap

I could have given this product at least two or three stars for its overpriced quality and size, but then the gooseneck on one lost its "gooseneck" before it was even fully installed. Now it's going down and that's it. Wire nuts not included. Have your own stock when you buy them. You know, when I get back to the house and see how much I paid for them, I'll get them both out of the trailer and send them back to Revane's. It is an insult to the market that they are offered for sale. I wanted to…

worked for our RV for the lighting

Easy to install. Replacing lamps in a bedroom of a mobile home. i like the style I only gave it 4 stars because I would have liked it in a different finish - buttered bronze or gloss black - but most importantly it needs to have a backing plate on the base so you can cover the wonderful holes that were drilled into the wood in the camper. It just goes where it is. I had to move it to a different position than I wanted to close the hole. If there was a flat back plate that attached to the base…

. My wife and I would say we love this item

So I would say that my wife and I really like this item. The finish is very good, similar to what you would find on a new Island Packet or (if it were a car) Mercedes. The luminous flux is correct, the illuminant is installed. The light diffuses beyond 8 feet making long casts useless, but it's not designed for that. At the stand, they consume 0.84 watts per lamp. 3 are used on the boat to replace 1980's brass reading lights and additional working lights in the galley. The boat is a 1988 Hunter

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Safety

New motorhomes now have terrifically bright LED lights just above the headboard of the main bed. They are terrible to read. Really terrible! I learned how to remove these devices by prying off their lenses with a small, thin screwdriver and then unscrewing them. Then it's very easy to slide the cables into the top cabinet if there is one, connect the two lines so they go into the side cabinets, secure them with clips and drill small holes to route the cables to the side of your bed to bring out

A beautiful, functional upgrade for any trailer or RV.

After much shopping I finally settled on a pair of these lights to replace the one button LED light above the bed in our caravan. I'm not sure if the headlights use power when they're off. The switch does not have a backlight, but there is a small circuit board at the base. I used a piece of walnut to set the light and polished it to match the surrounding wood. The board is attached to the Command Strip with Velcro so the lights can be moved if we switch to a different setup. The blue light can

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

These are nice looking lamps and the functionality of the reading light and night light is interesting but be aware they never go out. Since the controller is not just a physical switch, but a microchip, they consume electricity when they are switched off. I'm reading 0.01 amps. These are few, so they may or may not be appropriate for your application. I bought them for a van conversion and will be looking for something different for this project. I don't want ghosting from light sources…

Nice and bright, spins well, sharp on/off switch

I installed them in an RV a few weeks ago and they look sharp. We have a full queen bed and lights are mounted on the side cabinets next to or above the pillows. The swivel mount provides good directivity so I can read at night without disturbing my spouse. The lamps themselves were easy to install. Wiring. it was another matter. +12v was available on the opposite side of the camper and blind wiring through hollow and hard to reach knockouts was a line. Turns out there was a solar panel jack…

Very nice lights and perfect for the bed in our RV.

Very nice lighting and I really like the look of the glowing crystal. They were a little smaller than I imagined when I first ordered them, but that doesn't bother me. The white light from them is nice and warm white and bright enough, and the blue color is a cool feature for decorative lighting. I installed them on each side of the bed in my reading/softlight RV and love them. The only thing I would change if I were designing them is to have a separate switch for blue and white light. It works
